Flat Stanley in San Diego

Morgan's 4th grade class read a book called "Flat Stanley," written by Jeff Brown. In the book Stanley got flattened by a falling bulletin board. While Stanley was flat he could go around the world in an envelope. Teachers have used this story to encourage students to write to family and friends and learn about other places. Each student made a Flat Stanley to send on an adventure, Morgan chose Uncle Scott in San Diego. Uncle Scott made this blog to track Stanley's fun while visiting California.

A visit from a sea bird as Flat Stanley had to be half-buried in the sand from keeping the wind from blowing him into the Pacific Ocean.
